“Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC sigNs MOU with THE national University of Mongolia

On October 21, 2019 “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National University of Mongolia. 
 
By signing this MOU, the potential of the mining industry in Mongolia will be increased, custom-made innovative works, institutes, and studies related to the formed of responsible mining are organized and the opportunity to cooperate for professional assistance in all other relevant areas created. 
 
The MOU was signed by Gankhuyag B., CEO of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC and Tumurbaatar Ya., Director of the National University of Mongolia (NUM). 
“In the past, our company has done a great job on social responsibility, one of which is today's event. We express our intention to develop science-based mining. From the sale of up to 30 percent of ETT shares in the international and domestic stock markets, certain projects will be financed” said Gankhuyag B., CEO of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC. Also, he remarks that “Soon will be the first discussion of the Board of Directors on approving the long-term and medium-term strategic plan of the company. For this requires scientific advice and guidance, regarding your University and Mongolian University of Science and Technology teachers, need to work together. Besides, our goal is to increase the production efficiency of Tavantolgoi, improve existing technologies, and introduces intensive high technologies, and cooperates with all relevant research, experiments in obtaining the final product.”
Tumurbaatar Ya., Director of the NUM noted some work that will be done as part of this MOU. Such as the support for NUM students in production and study internships at the company, mediate of alumnus of NUM with a workplace, support in improving the school's educational environment, material resources, equipment and software used in research and development, involve for short-term or long-term training to strengthen the human resources of the company and develop the knowledge and skills of its employees, support to improve education of companies employees, dissemination of information among students, teachers and staff about the activities of the ETT and 1072 shares.
