“ERDENES-TAVANTOLGOI” JSC ANNOUNCED ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN NATIONWIDE
“Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC has announced scholarship program for national students in 2020-2021 year.
The purpose of the program
“Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC seeks to contribute to the development of the country by contributing to the training of leading specialists in the mining sector as part of its corporate social responsibility to support the education sector.
Program coverage
Undergraduate students of 2 or more courses from accredited universities in Mongolia.
Requirements
1. To be a student of 2, 3 or 4 year undergraduate of an accredited university in following majors.
Majors:
⦁ Technology of mining operation
⦁ Geology
⦁ Mining management
⦁ Mineral surveyor
⦁ Technology of mineral enrichment
⦁ Mining equipment
⦁ Operation of mining electrical equipment
⦁ Agronomy
⦁ Soil science
⦁ Agricultural chemistry
⦁ Forest engineer
⦁ Ecology
⦁ Environmental protection
⦁ Environmental restoration
⦁ Electrical engineering
2. The student must be highly motivated to learn, leadership in the class by academic achievement, GPA 3.2 or higher
3. Actively participate in social activities, arts and sports competitions
4. Not involved in other scholarship at the same time.
Required materials
1. Official grade and enrollment certificate of accredited university;
2. Copies of materials confirming participation in sports competitions, academic achievements, arts;
3. 1copy of ID card, 1copy photo;
4. Scholarship application;
5. Essay on topic “Responsible mining in my opinion…” /more than 500words/
Deadline
Materials will be accepted at the reception of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC or by mail from August 25, 2020 until September 20, 2020 at 5:30PM.

Remark
Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Please put the materials in an envelope and deliver it.
Announcement of result
Totally will be selected 30 students and scholarship awarding date will be announced to the selected students.
Scholarship
The amount of the scholarship is 1.000.000 MNT / one million / with 10% tax charge.
