COAL TRANSPORT DRIVERS TESTED FOR COVID-19 BY PCR TESTING
“Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC and other relevant organizations are jointly organizing the PCR testing of coal drivers in the TsagaanKhad customs control zone in accordance with the official order given by the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and the action plan to be implemented in the safe zone of Tavan Tolgoi group of deposits. For example, a 5-member mobile team from the National Center for Zoonotic Disease, a 20-member team from the Health Department of the Umnugobi aimag and a 50-member Internal Troops team are involved in PCR testing of coal truck drivers.
The PCR testing of coal truck drivers started on November 25, and so far 6,252 drivers have been tested, all of which have been negative.
