"Tsagiin hurd” news program of MNB’s Mongolian News Channel selected “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC as a “Socially Responsible Organization-Hero of Tsagiin Hurd”. Last year, net profit of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC reached MNT 1 trillion and distributed a total of MNT 179.8 billion in dividends to its shareholders. In 2020, ETT paid MNT 240 billion in taxes and fees to the state budget.
In order to reduce air pollution in Ulaanbaatar, established “Tavantolgoi Tulsh” LLC and financed MNT 290.4 billion as of today. Government has resolved to sell refined coal at 75 percent discount to provide financial support to citizens during COVID-19 pandemic and required costs were covered by “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC.
Last year, “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC financed major development projects and invested a total of 1.7 trillion MNT in the Tavan Tolgoi-Gashuunsukhait and Tavan Tolgoi-Zuunbayan railway projects.
The company has developed the A6-20 Business Plan to be implemented in 2021-2025, with the vision of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC as a benchmark for mining - infrastructure - industrial development, and in this context, working to implement major projects such as railways, roads, coal concentrators and power plants.
