MINERAL RESOURCES INDUSTRY MAKES UP 25.7 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL REVENUE OF STATE BUDGET

By a preliminary performance of 2020, the revenue of the state budget reached MNT 10,402.0 billion, which decreased by 13.6 percent or MNT 1,638.4 billion since the previous year’s performance.  Of which, revenue from the mineral resources sector reached MNT 2,673.3 billion, a decrease of MNT 246.6 billion or 8.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.  Showing data on the revenue generated to the budget and its share by sector:

Mining sector                MNT 2,522.9 billion or 24.3 percent

Oil industry                   MNT 102.8 billion or 1.0 percent

License fee                    MNT 32.7 billion or 0.3 percent

Other income                 MNT 14.9 billion or 0.1 percent
