JOB OFFER FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION OF “ERDENES TAVANTOLGOI” JSC

Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC's Accounting Division is looking for a Senior Accountant.

 

Main responsibilities:

1. Take charge of securities accounting and related work;

2. Monitor and manage the general journal entries in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with IFRS and IAS at the end of each month;

3. Recording of financing and investments;

4. Responsible for recording long-term and short-term investments, receivables and payables;

5. Support the preparation of the company's financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS and submit them to the appropriate authorities;

6. Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS and submit to the appropriate authorities;

7. Provide management with accurate financial information needed for decision making;

8. Provide company’s foreign stakeholders with financial information;

9. Perform other functions specified in the job description.

 

Job requirements: 

1. Have a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting (GPA of at least 3.5);

2. Must hold or have passed CPA or ACCA examination;

3. Relevant work experience of 2 or more years in BIG 4, or international audit companies such as E&Y, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG;

4. Have knowledge of international financial reporting and accounting standards;

5. Have knowledge of Mongolia's tax environment;

6. Previous experience in the mining sector would be an advantage;

7. Ability to coordinate and work as a team;

8. Fluency in English.
